The Devil Wears Prada Announces More About “Dead&Alive”

The Devil Wears Prada has announced more information about their live CD/DVD outing, “Dead&Alive“. The collection was filmed during the bands December 14th, 2011 Worcester, MA show of their “The Dead Throne Tour“. Along with audio/video of the concert, it will feature behind the scenes footage put together by Jeremy DePoyster (guitarist). The effort will see a June 26th release through Ferret Music with pre-orders to be launched tomorrow, May 22nd here.
Bonus items up for grabs include a branded flag, laminate, guitar picks, necklaces and more.

The Devil Wears Prada have announced the name of their forthcoming live CD/DVD which will be, “Dead & Alive“. The record and DVD was recorded on December 14th, 2011 at the Worcester, MA show of their “The Dead Throne Tour“. Along with the live footage/audio, it will feature behind the scenes footage and more. It is slated to hit stores on June 26th through Ferret Music.

The Devil Wears Prada – Dead Throne – Review

Dayton, Ohio metalcore veterans The Devil Wears Prada have been hard at work over the last few years — releasing the well-received and ear-punishing full-length, “With Roots Above and Branches Below,” and successfully holding eager fans at bay for new material with their gritty conceptual extended play, “Zombie EP.” So when they found time to record their latest effort, in between the endless touring cycle, it was a no-brainer to enlist elite shredder Adam D. (Killswitch Engage) to help the band with production, a notable deviation from completely relying on Joey Sturgis for recording and mixing duties. Either way, this sextuplet has garnered mountainous praise and a very loyal following, and with their senior album, entitled “Dead Throne,” they have brought us not only one of the most brutal records of the bands career, but also one of the more complex. read more
