On a clear April night in 2003, I took to the nearest (and better staged) venue in the area, in search of talent. The 9:30 club in DC has played host to all different sorts of genres from death metal and grunge, to pop punk and even some folk — but on that night I captured a glimpse of a band I knew would have amazing potential.
