The men of Let’s Get It first fell onto my radar a few months ago with a delightful handful of songs on Myspace that were full of speed, genuine vocal talent, adorable pop hooks. They then kind of fell off my radar, and just recently I found out they signed to Fearless Records and were about to drop a brand new EP. Apparently they’ve decided to blow my expectations completely away when I first heard about them and they created a crafty yet satisfying set of songs. They’ve “grown up” on this release and fans looking for more of the sugar on top of sugar pop punk, well they brought you all the goodies and sweets you could ever ask for. read more

After meeting in high school, A Skylit Drive quickly got the ball rolling on their career. They not only released an EP and the well received album “Wires…And The Concept Of Breathing,” but did what many successful bands still haven’t done yet and released a DVD. After their ties at Tragic Hero Records faded, they signed to the illustrious label Fearless Records and got to work on their new record, “Adelphia.” Sporting matured lyrical themes and Casey Bates at the producer helm, A Skylit Drive is very adamant about creating a positive next step as a band. To do that, “Adelphia” has to continue the same great energy their freshman record produced, and do it with a matured mindset. I was just hopeful their lyrics wouldn’t include as many references to Final Fantasy games as much as “Wires…And The Concept Of Breathing” did. read more
