Underground Alaska

Eye Alaska has posted their song “Walk Like A Gentleman” on their Myspace. The track comes from the band’s upcoming album “Genesis Underground” which will hit stores on July 7th through Fearless Records. Getting ready to hit the road, Eye Alaska eagerly announces the full track listing and album artwork for their debut full length, Genesis Underground, in stores July 7.

“This album is meant to run the gamut of human emotion,” says vocalist, Brandon Wronski. “The highs and lows and everything in between. Each track is a piece and has a feeling like the score of a movie.”

The album was recorded with legendary producer, Matt Wallace, who has produced hit songs for Sheryl Crow, Maroon 5 and REM. This album will be the follow up to the band’s debut EP, Yellow and Elephant, which is what initially attracted Wallace to the project. “Recording this record was an interesting process,” says Wronski. “Matt wanted to record the band live. It was such a cool experience playing at the same time with everyone and capturing that vibe.” The band released the first song, “Walk Like A Gentleman,” on their Myspace page the end of March and it has already received more than 240,000 plays.

After nationwide tours with bands like Ludo, The Higher, Lydia, The Dear Hunter and The Summer Set, Eye Alaska is gearing up to hit cities across the country in support of their new album. The band recently premiered a few of the new songs at this year’s Bamboozle Left in Irvine, CA. They are set to kick off a west coast tour with Lydia the end of May which will take them straight into a full US tour with The Cab all summer long.
