Ever the rising star in the underground label community, Sumerian Records, has been recently building a stable of talent, such as The Faceless, Agraceful, and After The Burial. After signing the newly formed UK band Asking Alexandria, the label sought to market them as the next The Devil Wears Prada or Bring Me The Horizon and have them on the fast track to stardom and gold sales. Which would have been exciting to hear if it were entirely true. Yes, Asking Alexandria‘s new full-length “Stand Up And Scream” shares some similarities to the previously mentioned acts, but with an intriguing new record, also comes with some slip-ups. read more
